RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
12-10-19, 9:53 a.m. to 12:46 p.m., 1400 block of Magnolia. Suspect takes unattended loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Sports equipment.
12-11-19, 10:42 a.m. to 11:07 a.m., 800 block of Columbia (attempt). Suspect(s) smashes window but fail to gain entry. LOSS: None.
FRAUD
12-10-19, 9:36 p.m., 800 block of Fair Oaks (Canoe House). Suspect enters business and exchanges a counterfeit bill for another bill. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, black, 6 feet, 35-40, athletic build, wearing all black clothing.
12-10-19, 4 p.m. to 12-11-19, 4:59 p.m., 1500 block of Mission. Suspect enters business and sells counterfeit gold bars to victim. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, 5-foot-8, heavyset, short hair with a beard.
IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT-CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD
8-23-19, 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., 1600 block of Bushnell. Suspect uses victim’s banking information to make an unauthorized transaction.
12-14-19, 12:50 p.m. to 1:06 p.m., 2000 block of Oak. Suspect uses victim’s information to open an unauthorized credit-card account.
THEFT
12-11-19, 4:03 p.m. to 4:44 p.m., 1000 block of Mission. Suspect takes unattended loss. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, black, 40, curly hair, wearing a green jacket, hat. LOSS: Purse, bank cards, U.S. currency, miscellaneous cards.
11-18-19, 11 p.m. to 11-19-19, 8 p.m., 100 block of Monterey. Suspect takes loss from victim’s residence and makes multiple unauthorized transactions with victim’s banking information. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male. LOSS: Laptop.
12-13-19, 8:02 p.m. to 8:33 p.m., 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspects enter store and employee sees suspects take loss and exit store without paying. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, white, 45, Monterey Park. S2 – Female, white, 33, Whittier. LOSS: Liquor (recovered).
12-16-19, 5:12 a.m. to 5:33 a.m., 700 block of Fair Oaks (McDonald’s). Suspect takes unattended loss and uses victim’s credit card to make an unauthorized purchase. LOSS: Wallet.
DRUNK IN PUBLIC
12-12-19, 12:39 a.m. to 12:50 a.m., Oxley/Fremont. Officer contacts suspect sitting on a retaining wall. Suspect is found to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, white, 34, South Pasadena.
12-12-19, 10 p.m., 1000 block of Mission. Officers conduct a welfare check on a subject in the street. Subject is found to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Hispanic, 26, Azusa.
12-13-19, 10:47 a.m., Mission/Meridian. Officers conduct a welfare check on a subject lying on the ground. Subject is found to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 50, Los Angeles.
DUI
12-12-19, 3:23 a.m., 2000 block of Pine. Suspect is involved in a traffic collision and is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Hispanic, 36, Alhambra.
12-15-19, 2 a.m., Fremont/Columbia. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 31, Los Angeles.
STOLEN VEHICLE
12-11-19, 6:45 p.m. to 12-12-19, 6:45 a.m., 1200 block of Oak (attempt). ’99 Chevy Suburban. Suspect(s) pries door lock to gain entry and tampers with ignition, but fails to start vehicle.
TRESPASSING
12-13-19, 6 p.m., 1700 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect is in victim’s carport and is arrested for trespassing. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 28, Los Angeles.
