With lightening streaking across the night sky and rain pouring down, the Tigers varsity football game Friday night was canceled about halfway through the second quarter against Temple City, who was ahead 7-0 at the time.
The game has been rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 15, at 3:30 p.m. at South Pasadena. The Tigers will resume play with the ball, third down and five yards to go, in its own territory. Not only was this the Homecoming Game for So Pas High School but it was an important league match-up. If the Tigers beat Temple City and then prevail against La Cañada the following week, they will have bested their league record by one victory. Stay tuned.
