Hundreds took to South Pasadena’s streets this past weekend for the annual Tiger Run, a fundraising effort by the South Pasadena High School Booster Club to benefit the athletics, arts and academic extracurriculars at the school. Its in-person return comes after a “virtual” run last year, in which participants individually ran the distance. Kicking off the race this past weekend was South Pasadena resident Dr. Mark Ghaly, secretary of the state Health and Human Services Agency under Gov. Gavin Newsom.
