An intruder triggered a burglary alarm after smashing through a back sliding glass door at a home in the 200 block of St. Albans Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11. A resident was sleeping upstairs at the time of the burglary.
There was an assault reported at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, in the 800 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. A man described as white with brown hair and brown eyes, 30-40 years old, standing 6-feet tall, weighing 150 pounds and wearing a turquoise shirt with gray or black shorts was reported to have pushed the victim during an argument.

There was an assault involving two people who previously dated reported at 6:42 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, in the 600 block of Stoney Drive.

A Kia Optima sedan was reported stolen from where it was parked on Cambridge Place sometime from 3:37-4:22 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9.

A Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 sedan was recovered by the Los Angeles Police Department Hollenbeck station after it was reported stolen from where it was parked in the 1100 block of Beech Street at 3:34 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10.

A Ford F250 pickup truck was recovered by the Los Angeles Police Department Hollenbeck station after being reported stolen from where it was parked in the 600 block of Monterey Road sometime between 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, and 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11.

A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a Toyota Prius parked in the 400 block of Garfield Avenue sometime from 2:57-3:14 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9.

A 21-year-old Los Angeles man and a juvenile boy were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting alcoholic beverages from Vons on Fair Oaks Avenue at 7:06 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5.

A bag of toys and cosmetics was reported stolen from a Nissan Sentra sedan parked in the 1200 block of Huntington Drive sometime from 3:33-5 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10.

A bicycle was reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 500 block of Magnolia Street sometime from 4-4:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11.

Bank cards were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 700 block of Fair Oaks Avenue sometime between 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, and 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11. The cards were later used for numerous fraudulent transactions.

Packages were reported stolen from the lobby of a building in the 1800 block of State Street sometime from 1-11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27.

A Pontiac Grand Am was recovered by the California Highway Patrol Los Banos station on Wednesday, Nov. 10, after being reported stolen from where it was parked in the 700 block of Mission Street around June 19.
