South Pasadena High School Girls Soccer are League Champs with Win Over Temple City

The South Pasadena High School Varsity Girls Soccer team whipped Temple City Thursday night, 1-0, and by doing so are now the Rio Hondo League Champions.
They won a hard-fought match against Temple City. They didn’t go down quietly but the Tigers prevailed after scoring an early goal in the first half.
Now, they will wait for the CIF pairings, which should be announced Saturday.
Several other So Pas High School teams have made it into the postseason as well.
As of Thursday evening, the girls varsity water polo squad is headed for the postseason along with the boys varsity soccer squad, which bested Temple city by a score of 4-2.
Also, the varsity wrestling team has had five boys qualify for the CIF and five girls are going to try and qualify, according to school officials.
