The 2019 South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Float, pictured above, will be themed “Three Little Birds,” in honor of the song of the same name sung by reggae artist Bob Marley. “Three Little Birds” is inspired by the Tournament’s overall theme, “The Melody of Life,” which was chosen by Tournament of Roses President Gerald Freeny. The design will feature a guitar, a tambourine, and keyboards, some of the instruments Marley used. Residents can get involved in the float’s construction by attending the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Committee meeting on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
