What: South Pasadena officials and residents will celebrate the grand opening of the Arroyo Seco Bicycle & Pedestrian Trail. The trail provides a long-awaited bicycle link between downtown Los Angeles and the greater Pasadena area. It connects to two of Pasadena’s bicycle paths and is a short distance from access to the Arroyo Channel bicycle path in the City of Los Angeles. The $1.8 million project was funded by grants from the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, the South Coast Air Quality Management District, the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Committee, Los Angeles Regional Parks & Open Space District, Proposition C local return funds, and the City of South Pasadena.
