The South Pasadena Police Department arrested three men and a woman last week in connection with an alleged attempted residential burglary.
According to the department, two male suspects were seen by a resident as they climbed to a balcony at a neighboring home in the 1000 block of Highland Street at 8:56 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13. Police said one of the suspects damaged a window on the balcony in an attempt to break into the home, prompting the neighbor to contact police.
The home’s owner also reported seeing the apparent break-in attempt on security cameras and contacted police, the department said.
Officers responding to the scene said they found the first two suspects running away from the home with a third man and ultimately located and arrested each of them after receiving assistance from a Pasadena Police Department helicopter unit. Police also arrested a woman in a parked vehicle nearby who they alleged was working with the others.
The SPPD said it expects that the suspects — a 33-year-old Palmdale man, a 25-year-old Inglewood man, a 37-year-old Las Vegas man and a 30-year-old woman from Natchitoches, Louisiana — will be charged with attempted residential burglary. All four were booked into the Alhambra jail after their arrests.
Those with additional information about the incident are asked to contact the SPPD at (626) 403-7270.
