He delivers them with masterful guitar work that perfectly supports the thematic material — perhaps due in part to his background as an Emmy award-winning composer for film and television. Lisa Sanders was twice named San Diego’s Best Acoustic Artist. The Philadelphia native is an electrifying presence whose soulful songs are heart-felt and well-crafted. Her talent has garnered tremendous accolades and earned her opening slots with such artists as Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, and BB King.
