Tween Writing Series
July 26, 2019 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Authors Kristen Kittscher, Phoebe Ozuna, and Danielle Davis will help students, ages 9-14, write their own stories during the Tween Creative Writing series in July at the South Pasadena Public Library.
The sessions are designed to have students practice what the authors teach in a variety of topics. Kittscher has authored the mysteries Tiara on the Terrace and The Wig in the Window and her session will help students write their own mystery stories. Davis has written Zinnia and the Bees and she will be teaching students to capture their “whoa” moments. Ozuna has written six books of poetry and is a founding member of the LA Poetry Festival.
This series is funded by the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library.
