“StemUp4Youth” program | Wonderful Wednesday

July 17, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

The South Pasadena Public Library’s “Wonderful Wednesday” series returns for a third straight year on July 17, this time starting with a “StemUp4Youth” program.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, and the program is designed to boost students’ interest in those areas.

Students from Troy High School in Fullerton will guide participants through a variety of creative activities that demonstrate different science and engineering concepts. The 45-minute program begins at 3 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room, 1115 El Centro St.

The Wonderful Wednesday program showcases a different entertainer or activity each week, and is sponsored by the Friends of the South Pasadena Library, the South Pasadena Employees Association and the National Charity League, San Marino chapter.

Programming in this series continues through July 31.

For more information about other upcoming free library youth programs, visit the Library at 1100 Oxley St., or call Children’s Services at (626) 403-7358. Information is also available on the Library website at www.southpasadenaca.gov/library.
