March 1, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

Whether we are young or old, healthy now or not, healthcare for ourselves and those around us is an important and complex issue. What do we, as a nation, get for the enormous amount of money we spend on healthcare? Do we have good quality care? How do we measure that? What factors influence the state of health of the American populace? Does some healthcare actually produce harm? How should the answers to these questions drive public policy? Dr. Zajdowicz will advance our understanding of these critical healthcare issues in this inaugural effort of our new Healthcare Committee to begin our advocacy efforts by educating ourselves.
