Freeway & Transportation Commission Meeting

Purpose, Membership, and Terms
The Freeway and Transportation Commission is a five member body that studies and investigates proposals and actions of the California Transportation Commission, Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Southern California Association of Governments, San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments, Caltrans, and other regional transportation agencies relating to the city’s fight against a SR-710 north extension and support of a multi-mode/low build alternative. Additionally, the Commission reviews and provides recommendations to the City Council on other transportation projects like the Metro Gold Line, when solicited. Qualifications for serving on the commission consist of being a resident elector (registered voter) of the city. Members are appointed to a three-year term, with a maximum length of service of two full consecutive terms, plus one partial term (if applicable).

Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
