After 25 years and eight months, Lucy Hakobian, Community Services Supervisor leaves the City of South Pasadena to take a position with a local community. She began her career with the city in 1994 as a Clerk Typist at the South Pasadena Senior Center, she was promoted to Recreation Coordinator in the late 1990’s and was responsible for assisting with Senior Center programming and managing city facility rentals. In 2011, she was moved to the Recreation Center and later promoted to Community Services Supervisor in 2013 when she returned to school to obtain her bachelor’s degree and followed with a master’s degree. Lucy was the truest asset of the Community Services Department, with a work ethic that is to be commended. She will be missed by the entire Community Services team and the community at large.
